Having a blast.

Been in California for about a week, and will be here a little more. We're staying at Oceanside; it's beautiful, a wonderful thing. Used to be that I thought I would hate the beach, seeing as I'm so white and burn just by driving, but I haves tried to make it a point to walk to the beach everyday. Also, I finished Water for Elephants. Not for children, but easily one of my favorite books of all time. I laughed, I cried, I second guessed and reread parts. So glad to have bought it. The only thing is it's not a "lendme" book, and even if it was, B&N would only let me lend it once before the information were banned to only my eyes.
So far we've been to the beach and Knott's Berry Farm (fun but too crowded to do much). Might go to the zoo, but that's still up in the air. Can't say I'm homesick, but there is a part of me that wants to be back home.

This week

-I made delicious yummy taco bowls as designed from Emily Bites
-Semi-celebrated my birthday two months early (I got a new nook tablet and nail polish!)
-Further strengthened my nail polish obsession (see above)
-Failed at trying to make soap
-Fell deeper in love with Kyle XY
-Reminisced about favorite but long gone Pitch Black Mountain Dew while sipping on the "Dark Knight" edition

Boom

No fancy setup tonight, just making a quick post.
I bought items and made a dinner I had planned.
Feeling slightly accomplished (joke, haha).
It was just some eggplant lasagna.
It was really runny (more than likely my fault), but delicious nonetheless.
Gonna try and make some mini taco bowls later today.
Can't wait.

I've never been good at these sort of things..

And by that, I mean keeping a journal/blog, doing homework, keeping a routine, etc.

Basically, just doing something consistent.

The only thing I've ever kept a constant interest in, to be honest, is my knitting hobby.

However, it can even take me longer than expected to finish a project even as simple as a hat.

It just feels like I lose interest in it pretty quickly, which makes me sad.

Here's hoping this one won't be a bust in my ADD raddled mind!
